Pastor Ehlers is a 1998 graduate of Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, Wisconsin. He served 4 ½ years as pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Crandon, Wisconsin and Christ Lutheran, Hiles, Wisconsin. He then served 5 ½ years as pastor at St. Luke Lutheran, Jackson, Michigan. Most recently He served 4 years at Grace Lutheran Church, South Saint Paul, Minnesota. Pastor Ehlers has been involved in building two churches and assisted at Michigan State University.
To develop his artistic abilities he has been learning and working in the stained glass trade since he was in high school.
Pastor Ehlers is married to Susan, who is a graduate of Oakland University, Rochester, Michigan, and has continued her education in the early childhood field. They have 2 children, Eden and Adam who both attend Wisconsin Lutheran College. Pastor Ehlers enjoys spending time with his family, designing and creating stained glass, and loves to watch sports.
