Growing in Faith

Here at Cross of Glory Church, we have many opportunities for you and your family to grow in your walk with God.

Worship

God calls us to worship him with all that we are in every area of our life, but we also treasure the time we have to gather together with others in church, to learn and grow in our faith from God’s Word (Romans 10:17) and to encourage each other as we seek to serve God in our day-to-day lives (Hebrews 10:25).
We have multiple opportunities throughout the week for public worship. See below:

Children’s Programs

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these” (Matthew 19:14). At Cross of Glory, we take that invitation seriously. We strive to bring God’s Word to the young beginning already at birth by emphasizing the importance of baptism. As children grow, we support families in their efforts to train their children spiritually by offering materials and guidance. We also provide learning opportunities at church through our children’s sermons and youth programs.

Adult Ministries

Spiritual growth is a lifelong pursuit. None of us can ever be done learning more about God and his Word. Our congregation provides a number of opportunities for adults to learn and grow in their faith, including Bible studies, an online discussion board, and growth groups. Growth groups are small groups of people who gather in homes for fellowship and study of God’s Word. Check out what groups are active now!.

Living in Grace

Forgiveness. A transformed heart. Eternal life. Freedom from guilt over sin and fear of death. When we realize all the things God has done for us through Christ, we can’t help but respond. He acted on our behalf out of pure grace, love that we never deserved. Now, living in the effects of that grace, we do all we can to serve him in thankfulness for what he’s done, knowing that we are merely stewards of the gifts God has given us (1 Peter 4:10). See what opportunities are available at our congregation to put your gifts into his service!

Sharing His Glory

Jesus said, “You will be my witnesses…to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8). There are so many people in this world who still do not know what Jesus has done or what it means for them. It is each Christian’s responsibility to take the message about Christ and spread it far and wide as God enables them. Whether it’s talking to your family members, neighbors, friends, coworkers, or complete strangers, we seek to equip you to do the task Jesus has given you. Our evangelism efforts start at home but stretch across the world. As a part of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS), we support missions in numerous foreign countries.
