Mrs. Grams

Biography:

Growing up in Wisconsin with a family of 14 is where my life began. I am a country girl at heart and had an amazing childhood growing up on a family farm. I am the youngest of twelve children and loved growing up with my siblings and over 100 nieces and nephews. I attended a Christian grade school and high school. I feel very blessed to have grown up in a family that loves Jesus. Our faith has been a very important part of our lives and we daily see God’s hand in our life.

In 1982 I married my high school sweetheart. He was going to college to become a Pastor. During this time the Lord blessed us with my two oldest children – Melissa and Matthew. They are now married and live in Minnesota. My husbands first call for the ministry was to Vermont. After that call it was back to Wisconsin and then Minnesota. Again in Vermont and Wisconsin we were blessed with two more children – Elizabeth and Benjamin. Elizabeth and Benjamin are now married and live in Arizona. Elizabeth is a first grade teacher at a Charter School and Benjamin is a Phoenix Policeman.

In 2007 we moved to Arizona to start a whole new chapter of our life. While raising my children, I went to college to become a preschool teacher. I graduated from MLC with an Early Childhood Degree. I love children and I began teaching preschool in 1993. I taught preschool for about 10 years. Then when we moved to Arizona I began teaching in a Charter School called Eagle College Prep. I worked with the Eagle Schools for 11 years. I am looking forward to my new position here at Cross of Glory. I missed not being able to share God’s Word at the charter school. I know how important God has been in my life, and I want the children put in my care to know how much Jesus loves them. I am passionate about teaching and will offer many age appropriate hands on activities for children to grow spiritually, physically, emotionally, and academically.
